What is TKN HA 3?

TKN HA 3 known as Toskani Hyaluronic Acid-3 is a CE approved, second generation non-cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid skin booster. Hyaluronic Acid is a very versatile molecule which can hold up to 1000 times its own molecular weight in water which makes it ideal for adding hydration to the skin. This results in a plumper, more youthful looking complexion. It also stimulates collagen and elastin production within the skin which are the building blocks of the skin giving it more elasticity. Finally it helps to nourish the skin & give it more vitality.

So what makes TKN skin booster different to other biorevitalisers on the market? Others have a low molecular weight which means the results are short in duration and many are very dense, thick gels.

In comparison, TKN HA 3 skin booster has a far higher molecular weight, in fact it is the highest molecular weight of all the biorevitalisers on the market today, this means it lasts longer. The molecular weight of TKN skin booster is 3000 kDa with a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid – 9mg/ml

How long is the procedure?

TKN HA 3 is injected with a very fine mesotherapy needle into the dermis layer of the skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, knees or any part of your body where the skin shows visible signs of ageing and the treatment can take up to 60 minutes depending the area being treated.

To achieve better and lasting effects, you should repeat this treatment 3 to 6 times with an interval of 2 to 4 weeks. The treatment also lasts in the skin for approximately 56 days. During this time, the gradual release of Hylaruanic acid stimulates four separate forms of collagen and elastin over this period.

Is There Any Downtime? 

Immediately after the TKN HA 3 treatment, it is likely there will be some small red raised bumps in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections. These symptoms are temporary and generally disappear within a few days though they can stay for up to 7 days. In most cases there is nothing to see after just a few hours though you may be able to feel the injection sites as small bumps. This is normal. 

​Post Treatment Advice:

• Try not to touch the treated area for several hours or until the initial swelling and redness has receeded
• Do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. sunbeds, saunas, steamrooms, sunbathing) or extreme cold.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
• Avoid putting on makeup for 24 hours.
