Which Skin Booster Is Right for Me?

Skin boosters have become increasingly popular for people who want fresher, better hydrated and healthier-looking skin without dramatically changing their facial features.

At Derma Aesthetics Clinic we offer several injectable skin-quality treatments, including Profhilo, Seventy Hyal and TKN HA 3. Although they share some similarities, they are not interchangeable.

Why Are There Different Skin Boosters?

Different formulations and treatment protocols allow us to approach concerns such as dehydration, fine lines, reduced elasticity and general skin quality in different ways.

Your age alone does not determine which product you need. Skin condition, treatment area, previous procedures and what you want to achieve are more useful considerations.

Profhilo

Profhilo sits slightly apart from conventional skin boosters. It uses hyaluronic acid but is intended to spread through the tissue and support hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality.

It is frequently chosen for areas such as the face and neck where dehydration and loss of firmness are concerns.

Seventy Hyal

Seventy Hyal is a hyaluronic acid skin booster used for hydration and rejuvenation. It can also be considered for areas that often show age-related dehydration, including the neck, décolletage and hands.

TKN HA 3

TKN HA 3 is another hyaluronic acid-based injectable designed to improve hydration and skin quality.

It can be used across several areas of the face and body depending on the concern being treated.

Which One Should I Choose?

You do not need to decide before your appointment. In fact, it is usually better not to.

Someone with dehydrated skin may require a different approach from somebody whose principal concern is loss of elasticity or fine creasing around the neck.

During consultation we can assess:

• Fine lines and textural changes
• Elasticity and laxity
• The areas you would like treated
• Previous injectable treatments
• Your expectations and preferred treatment plan

Are Skin Boosters the Same as Dermal Fillers?

No. Although both may contain hyaluronic acid, skin boosters are generally used to improve skin quality rather than to deliberately create facial volume or reshape an anatomical feature.
